I’ve been a serial entrepreneur since I was 23 years old, having founded 5 successful start-ups in my lifetime.
I am currently enjoying my latest career as a notable speaker, marketing maven, brand builder, social media guru, blogger extraordinaire, and published author (hey, I never said I was modest). Just your average girl who happens to be unusually witty, occasionally sassy, and always mindful of what is relevant, current and marketable. An awesome life, if I do say so myself!
I am proud to be a Huffington Post contributor, Jewish Journal correspondent, and author of the book, Single Past 50 Now What?. I also pen the award winning blog, Witty Woman Writing, where I speak out on the things I know about, witness and experience; such as life as a boomer (an endearing term for borderline old fart), business woman, a divorced, single, engaged and remarried woman, and the trials and tribulations of finding my way while being a mother, wife, friend, and daughter. Never a dull moment!
If you are looking to hire a pro for your needs, or you want a fresh point of view to stir your interest … you’re in the right place.
Here is the obligatory bio on moi …
I’m an L.A. girl, born and raised. I married my high school sweetheart at 23, and 10 years later gave birth to our beautiful daughter. We eventually moved to Colorado (where I thought I’d preserve better) and lived there for 14 years. I somehow found my way back home (don’t we all?) to Southern California, and now reside in beautiful La Quinta.
Married for 29 years, divorced and single for over a decade, I am now remarried to a wonderful man, Steven, who just happens to be a former BFF high school classmate. (Fairfax High has been very good to me!)
I founded 5 successful businesses in my lifetime; an earthquake preparedness company, a TV production business, a property management firm, a thriving speaking and writing career, and a very successful consulting/coaching business specializing in marketing/branding/blogging and social media. This is the part where I should mention that I’ve also been broke, bankrupt and unemployed. I know what it’s like to lose and the work it takes to pick yourself up and start again.
I have toured, spoken, lectured, counseled and conducted many a workshop over these past 35 years. I provide extraordinary programs for universities, corporations, chambers of commerce and other civic and community organizations, synagogues, and churches. I always welcome the opportunity to help others by sharing what I know. Check out my credentials.
Steven and I are owned by the most opinionated dog in the world, and we are all bossed around by our cat, Henry. Life is good!
